Welcome to my site!

I'm Kat de Sarigny {"de Sarigny" pronounced 'de-sah-ra-nee'}. I'm a proud South African who currently lives in the UK. I've lived here for over 10yrs now, but am excited to announce that after more than a decade, my hubby and I have decided to move back home (we're moving at the end of this year)!

I grew up in a small seaside village called Fish Hoek in Cape Town, but have also lived in Johannesburg and of course London ~ so I've had the pleasure of experiencing everything from small town to big city life!

My husband bought me my first SLR camera only a few years ago and it was instant love!! Since then I haven't been able to put my camera down! Having been a self taught Photographer, I decided to build on my knowledge and complete a Diploma in Professional Photography with The Photography Institute. I remain pure in my style and continually persue perfection with every image!

With the endless love and support of my amazing husband and beautiful daughters, I aim to share my art and give of myself, with relentless passion and devotion!

My mantra is simple:

"Photography is my passion,
my family is my everything,
Conservation is my love,
travelling is an adventure,
and capturing all that and in-between, a must!"
